RNLI Atlantic 75 on EuroLift 34 with walkways instead of topfloats
The HydroHoist Range of BoatLifts are imported in to the UK and Ireland by Barnet Marine, we have been involved with the lifts since they first arrived in Europe in the late 1990’s and we are the market leaders in both supply of lifts and our experience of lifting craft in the UK
Barnet Marine and HydroHoist are pleased to announce that the RNLI are now using the EuroLift 34 exclusively under the Atlantic 75 lifeboat.
BOAT LIFTS ARE HERE TO STAY, GET ONE TODAY !
HydroHoist were issued the first US patent for any boat lift and thousands of the original "A" models are still in use today.
Utilizing over 30 years of design experience and a constant commitment to innovation, HydroHoist Engineers have provided the European Boat Owner with the ultimate in safe, simple, boat protection.

Radical design changes from the American HydroHoist “B” lift facilitate applications in narrow double mooring berths
The EuroLift model is designed to meet the needs of the European boating community, to provide maximum lift capacity in a minimum of space

Detail of the simplified new light weight EL 20 Lifts
The EuroLift has been refined and developed in the 10 years that they have been sold in the UK, we now have continuous top floats to further protect your craft when mooring, an increased pump speed, improved mooring kits, 4 valve operation. The 1900 kgs lift model provides VERY affordable dry storage for even the smallest of craft. We have custom built several units for precise hull designs and we, the UK importers, work very closely with the American Factory in the design and build of specialist units.
Boat lifting in Europe is here and we are the number one !!

The Front Mount option is a simpler and more basic lift without the walkways, suitable only for power craft it is a very cost effective lift option if you are on a finger pontoon, this lift is a bit more complicated in how it has to be fitted so please contact us to discuss this unit.
Functions and benefits
Functions
Driving between the floats positions the boat over the EuroLift
Open the valves and turn on the electric pump, housed in a secure box on the pontoon, this starts the lifting process
The stern floats as the bow raises
In less than two minutes the lift is raising the stern
In little more than four minutes the boat is up, level and floating clear of the water.
Reverse the process to lower the boat by opening the valves
Automatically the lift begins to lower the boat to the water
The stern floats as the bow lowers
In less than two minutes the bow begins to float
In little more than three minutes the boat is in the water and ready to go
Benefits

Hi-Tech Polyethylene materials
Quick operation
The boat is completely out of the water when not in use
Safe secure mooring
No more hull cleanings
Decreased fuel consumption
Easy to operate
Uses the same space a typical boat does when moored
Better residual value on your craft

Installation
Our experienced installation team install most lifts within one working day, we need the boat that is to be lifted to be on site so that we can adjust the lift to suit the craft. We need the operator of the lift to be there so that we can train them in how the unit works and we will need to have discussed in advance where the unit can be assembled, how we can get it in to the water (We have a specialised trailer that we assemble most lifts on and then launch the lift like a boat, if there is no convienent slipway then we will need to access a crane)
The unit is NORMALLY powered by 240 volt mains electricity and a supply is needed where the lift is to be used. We can also quote for generator based power supplies or inverters taking the power from the boat itself.
Because the lift submerges we need a depth of at least 1.4 m of water to be able to launch the craft of of the lift, and this may need to be more depending on the type of craft and the size of lift. We offer lifts that can dry out as well as units suited to swinging moorings (Link to Commercial and specialist lifts page)
Unit afloat and ready to be towed on to berth
EuroLift submerged and ready for boat to be driven on, we often need to do 2 or 3 test lifts when we first install the lift to get the unit perfectly adjusted for your craft
The vertical poles in their sliders just tie upto to your pontoon like a boat, normally no specialist mooring equipment is required. However in exposed or very rough sites the mooring mechanism may need to be upgraded and we often use chains to moor to the dock in instances like this.
